Ok guys, its about that time. Prison Break starts back up Jan 22nd. I can not wait until it starts up again. This is the best show IMO. I'm really interested in seeing whats going to happen. The way they left it is wide open. man i can't wait. Any thoughts?

i don't watch it, but i want to. my friends said the 1st season was amazing and then it started to get worse, but still good. do you think i need to watch all the others to fully get into it? or is there usually a good synopsis? just curious...

Webb that last 2 episodes are amazing. The episode they left us on pissed me off. Made me want more! They did an outstanding job with this series. But really how long can it last? another year or two?

really would hate to see it end, but there is only so much you can do with this kind of show. Thoughts? :confused:

I've only watched a few episodes and it's fairly good but making a show about being in a prison for more then 3 seasons sounds like a killer. You can only do and say so much.

It's not all about being in prison. 8 men escaped and they are on the hunt for them. Nodogg and I were talking about this yesterday, If/once they get in the clear they can start going after the govt. That could take some time.

I don't think they named the show wisely, as they broke out of the prison long time ago, maybe it should have been called manhunt or something.

I read that they were in talks with Wentworth Miller about securing his contract for the 4th series, so it seems that a 4th series will be the minimum amount. I've watched the 1st 10 episodes of season 2 and all 10 have been excellent and can't wait to see the rest, i just hope they don't drag it out and the quality lessens

So what did everyone think? I thought it was a nice way to bring back the show, although i wasn't expecting a couple of things to happen that happened at the end.

Things i want to know:

DR. SARA TANCREDI Where has she gone off to with the gold key she found when her dad was killed, does to hold everything Linc needs to be free?
LJ BURROWS JR, when are they going to catch back up with him?
If i remember correctly he get let of of juvy, so they could get his dad. They ran away and got pulled over, fled from the car hit by a car or something, and got arrested.

Lincoln Jr. went with the goody government agents just before the attack on lincoln and michael left their dad dead. I'm shocked that the presidents brother is now dead coz the only evidence they have of lincolns innocence now is the thing Dr Sara has. I still cant believe they killed of John Abruzzi though. He was by far one of the cooler characters. There was so much more they couldve done with him. Tis cool that the "Invasion" guy isnt dead though.

Does anyone know what episode they have got to so far in the UK running of series 2? I need to start watching again from episode 11 and don't want to miss it :confused: so annoying that Heroes is on at the same time and i can't catch any of the times they repeat it at:mad:

Now I cant wait for season 3!! Looks like Scofield will have to break out again, and may be part of some military experiment. And this time he will have Mahone and Bellick as his aid, rather than them trying to stop him, with Link and Sarah on the outside- bit of role reversal lol.

And then theres still a matter of the 5 million lying on a river bed.... plus what will happen to Sucre, Teabag etc

I was REALLY hoping, as Minty said, they would have the balls to leave it at two seasons, or at the very least, do something completely new and original with season 3 other than "LOL, now he's got to break out of an even shittier jail!" I mean seriously, the only thing keeping me watching right now is the hopes that this shadow government plot point will be more fleshed out in season 3 and that that might pay off in the end.

I watched the last episode of series 2 and damn what a story. I cant wait for series 3 to start in October it has to be told that it will be a blast. w@@@t cannot wait.

I loved the Season finale of prisn break!! i cant wait for august for season 3 i liked how it ended with michael in jail and hopefully KIm was Killed...i really dont want to see him recovering in a hospital...and wanting payback...well now that i mention it...it would be cool...but i hate that guyy with such a passion its insane...i was cheering when sarah shot him... i love it...just one thing...whats gonna happen to the money? it was just dropped into the water.

YES!!! Panamanian Prison Break!!!! I loved that ending and really thought it was only going two seasons as well. I just hope they bring back T-Bag missing both hands with a chainsaw attachment ala' Ash!

next season had better be insanely good because i can't understand how they can keep calling it prison break when that was broke season one. i know i'll watch though cuz i'm hopelessly addicted...........

what do you guys think? will scoffield have to break out of another prison down there or did he just walk out of that prison on last episode? this has been nagging me........

I believe the government wanted him there in order to BREAK OUT. There is probably someone in that prison that they need to escape. And they figure if anyone can help this "person" escape its Michael.


I think next season is gonna be kind of a mix between season 1 and 2. You'll have another Prison Break but you'll also have the conspiracy end of the story. No matter what next season should be entertaining.

first off, there is only one scoffield

second off, they'll kill burrows because they need scoffield

third off, if prison break isn't the best tv series, it's certainly in the top 5 (i'm included to agree with it being #1 though)

Season 2 ended in the UK yesterday and i have a few questions that may have been answered in the first episodes which i missed. Who is the general that Bill Kim reports to? (hes in POTC3 too did u spot him?:)) also is SONA a prison? because it had it on the front of where Michael went into and what the general wrote on paper and showed to Kim.

Release for Season 3 is August 27th... I'm glad I can finally hop on this bandwagon now that I have caught up with the final two episodes... anyhow here is some info on Season 3.

The answer to the question that has been on every prison break fan’s lips is right here. Yes there will be a season 3. Season 3 of Prison Break (which may have a different name announced soon) will be premiered on 27th August 2007, almost 5 months after the season 2 finale. Most of the conspiracy storyline (about 90%) will be wrapped up by the end of season 2, and the third season will have a completely new plot. Scheuring quotes “The audience will definitely get closure. It'll feel like this is the endgame of the story, and yet there will be a few unanswered questions."
The third season will have eight major roles, including new additions to the cast. Most of the surviving crew will be brought together somehow, and there will be one or two new faces. When asked about the fate of Mahone played by William Fichtner, fans were told that Scheuring was very happy with William, hinting that Mahone will make a comeback in season 3.


One of the new additions is a female character who is Michael’s equivalent in intelligence, and she will act as a love interest for one of the guys. Who will it be? Your guess is as good as mine. Scheuring also let slip “And she would seem to be coming down on the side of good initially, but there will be questions [about] whether that's a facade.”


Ausiello quotes: “Scheuring also teased that Season 3 would feature "a different storytelling process" that will begin to "play out in the last couple episodes of Season 2" and "leave some cliff-hangers, including one with Sara."

Sara Tancredi fans may have been worried that she may be killed off because the actress playing her, Sarah Wayne Callies, is pregnant, but Ausiello assures us that she’s safe. He says that Paul Scheuring won’t kill her off because he believes that Sara Tancredi is a strong component in the show. Sarah is due in the late summer, which coincides with the premiere of season 3, and she will be gone for a while, but will be back soon after the birth of her child. Scheuring says that her disappearance will fit into the plot, but refuses to confirm rumours of Sara Tancredi being kidnapped.

Season three will provide some of our favourite characters with redeeming moments. Michael Scofield's tattoo still has one more important role to play before the second season ends. Not everyone at the Paley Festival Event will survive to see season three. The show will continue to shoot in Dallas for season three, with secondary units covering Florida and Lousiana.
