360 keeps freezing!

My Xbox freezes all the time now and I don't know why. I just returned Carbon because it was freezing up in the same spot, and now this new copy does it too! Every single game I own or have played on this console freezes up or says "This disc is dirty." It makes no sense. Anyone know why this might be happening?

it does that to me a lot 2 on burnout and saints row...i just think the xbox's like to be crappy sometimes and freeze...:confused:

Except after hitting 49 cop cars and dodging numerous spike belts and running for 9.5 minutes, a total freeze-up is unacceptable.

i have a similar problem with most games. i found that if you let 3 different games load to their title screens one at a time and then put in the game you want, it works 99% of the time. (major league baseball 2k6 had a bad bug and that was their recommended freeze fix til a patch came out, and surprisingly it worked...i think it warms up the laser and hard drives enough to keep up with most games.)

it's a pain in the ass... but keeps all of your important stats in tact.

With the launch 360 i have problems with the NBA 2K series. also Burout Revenge thats about it, and ill tell you what it is so frustrating

Mine has also been freezing up a lot today, I think it is just because I have been playing carbon a lot and making my xbox rly hot! :P

Mine, like UBER freeze, all the time, and the worst part. It freezes right before I'm supposed to get an achievement!:wtf :eek:O NOES!!!!! I'm gonna call 18004MYSEXBOX but their probably gonna say that I need to 140 dollar bring it in, which isn't an option right now.
