Possible Fix for Glitched Achievements

I was boosting the sitting ducks today with 3 friends. I line everything up right and send off the missiles and the EMP. Bam got the sitting ducks challenge, but the achievement did not pop. A short time later I got Cannon Ace Challenge but then no achievement. My friend said to me that it happened to him.


What he told me to do was put my saves and profile to a memory card and take off the hard drive. Remember to turn off the Xbox before you take off your hard drive. Load everything up again and get 1 cannon kill. The achievement popped for Cannon ace once I got the kill.


My question is would this work for sitting ducks. If I use the save off the memory card and get sitting ducks again will it unlock? I know it worked for Cannon Ace I just hope that it will work for Sitting ducks as well. Can anyone confirm this?

The only fix i know is to keep repeating the requirements until it unlocks or start a new save.

Same thing happened to me and another friend. We got the Sitting Ducks challenge but no achievement. Finish the game you are in when it happens. Quit to the dash board and clear your cache. Go back into the game and go for the achievement again. My friend's popped. Mine did not because I quit the 1st game before the challenge saved so when I did it again I got the challenge but no achievement. That pissed me off so I finished the game and am waiting for Live to come back on to try again.
