questions about preordering

ok so I preorder Prototype at EBGames about a week ago and I had a few questions:

1. What is the preorder bonus at EB? cuz I've heard alot of things

2. Can I pick it up on Release Day? cuz on the reciept it says something like "New releases will be held for 24 hrs" or something like that

3. (not about preorder) when is the email with the free upgrade code gonna be sent to people who registered?

for #2, yes on release day, they're guarantee'ing you a copy on release day, if u don't get there on release day, but at the same time, they're saying if u don't make it on the day it comes out, you might not get it till the next shipment comes in.

#1 Depends where you are - there are a lot of people in America (I think) complaining about the fact that the promised action figure of Alex has been changed to some sort of in-game content but down here in Australia, if you preordered at least a fortnight ago, you get the figurine.

#2 When the receipt says "New release products will be held for 48 hours" it means that your copy of the game is going to be held in the storeroom for 2 days. After those 2 days, if you haven't picked up the item or made arrangements with the staff (such as layby or even just a courtesy call to tell them when you'll be in), they are going to sell that item and your preorder will have to wait until the next shipment comes in.

One thing I like about EBGames, I go there often enough (I'm sure I put their kids through college lol) that anything I preorder, is held for me regardless of how long I take to pick it up.

In America, you get Alex Mercer 4inch figure and a Biohazard tube with a map of all the critical location thingamajigs for pre-ordering.

And it means they will hold your copy for only 24 hours if you do not go pick it up within 24 hours - they will sell and you can go get one the next shipment.
