Careful when playing on this map, when you get to the underground castle do not mess with any of the towers in the water or it might glitch on you. Infact right after you drop into the water from the waterfall, go ahead and save your game just in case.

After you have knocked the bell and picked up the sword piece, your fight we'll begin with the monster... When you're fighting him you need to distract him by shooting the bell towers but BE CAREFUL!!! Shoot the front left tower first, and be sure that you drop this one first on the monsters head. After that you can do them in whichever order you want. But if you mess with any of the others before the first, then for some reason that front left one glitches and you cannot pull it down with your grapple.

Hope this helps anyone who has the problem with the glitch.

p.s. I had to redo the entire game because of this, since there is no option in Tomb Raider to let you restart a level... I know, it's stupid.

I could restart levels, I don't have the game anymore and I don't fully remember which menus you go through but you can start levels again because I restarted Khazakstan.

Never came across any glitches in the Tomb though and I started with the front right bell thing most times I did that level.

I think it only happends on certain disc's. It definetely doesn't happen for everyone, but if you type it into google or something you we'll see many cases where the 'glitch' happened.

But there wasn't any way for me to restart levels in this game, and trust me I would have figured it out I tried everything. I tried going back to the main menu to select the level again, but it would just start me back at the boss already in the glitch. Then I tried playing the previous level over again (Kahzakstan), and rolling into Englan but that didn't work either. It would just send me back to the main menu.

It was a really weird, but rare glitch.

Me and my wife both play this game thought it was gr8 till we both got to King Arthur level when i was playing i messed with the levers before i shud have and alas the game glitched so i couldn't pull a lever when fighting the Boss Serpent! And Guess what my save game was the checkpoint as the boss starts..... so back to the start for me!

My missus was a little behind so when she played i warned her, and she never messed with the levers and proceeded to give the serpent a good hiding :woop:

But a few more minutes in where u shoot a ring to release a rope and swing onto a ledge with a lever, as soon as the lever was pulled the game freezes so it is back to the start for her 2 :mad:

I'm sorry to hear you are having this problem. Unfortunately, this issue is the result of the savegame having incorrect saved data which usually occurs at a previous stage in the game but does not become a problem until later stages.

The only solution we can offer would be to revert back to a previous save game and continue on again. If this is not possible or your previous save game is not too far back in the game, and results in the same issue, the only alternative is to start a new game.

Any other reported cases we have had like this, the customer has been able to complete the game fully without experiencing any further problems after starting a new game.
