Completing difficulty achivements

Well for a good deal of all the game so far, I've been playing on the Admiral difficulty, but I've come up against a mission that's somewhat hard. If I changed the difficulty to a lower setting for this mission then change it back after, will it mess up my achievements?

as far as i know you have to complete all missions on the same difficulty to get the achievement for that chosen difficulty
