Okay I'll admit I got so frustrated with the lag in some matches I popped the controller on the floor and quit because of total bs.

They need to patch the game for better hit detection and u should have the option for region select when looking for an opponent so you can get the best connection for matches.

Anyone else having issues like this? Had a match against I think Germany and France.....uh I live in the USA come on!

I think it's just the servers today. I joined three matches and a guy was complaining of laggy servers (I was the host). When we started up the match he said just stand still and after about 20 seconds, the lag went away. Not sure if that will help you and your situation, but waiting it out seems to help.
