Couple Questions

I beat the game and didn't get the 4th propaganda report, so I'm guessing I missed a piece of metal for some reason. I used firearms for the first 4 levels, and didn't get the chief investigation award. SO here's my question.
1. Can I replay the first couple of levels using only melee weapons to get the master melee achievement?
2. Can I replay through the levels in which I missed some investigation spots or do I have to replay the whole game?

i think you can replay the levels, but you said it was the first four right? well replay the first 4 and if you dont get it, you know you have to finish :)

If I just load a chapter and look for the metal will it not be there if I already picked it up?

oh doing chapter loading. i wouldnt be real sure about that, i started a new game on easy (i think) and just ran through the levels to find the stuff using a guide. I got sick of going from my computer and back so i only did half of them

just out of curiousity, how do you get the chief investigator award? cos u investigate all evidence with the story, dont you?

No you can easily miss some of the evidence because not all of it is required also. You can't load the chapter and find the piece of metal you have to do the whole game over I think.

Is using the gaspectrometer considered Investigating and do you need to do it to get the Chief Investigator Award?
