Question about Victory's achievements.

How is a victory earned in this game? Is this just defeating an enemy?

Thats right. All you need to do is kill the needed amount of enemies with each character to earn the achievements. It'll just happen while going through the game. Just switch characters once in a while and you should have all of the achievements by the time you finish the game [for the first time :(]
