3 red lights of death

I got my 360 in Feb and it's been ok with the exception of a few crashes on Quake & Full Auto, but since a friend lent me Call Of Duty 3 I've been having problems. Today my machine finally died and no amount of rebooting seems to help. Even leaving it for a while to cool down is no good as then I only get a few minutes before it packs in.

I've still got my receipt so am going to return it today, but my problem is loosing the data on my hard drive. Will I be able to swap the console for a new one but keep my existing Hard Drive?

I doubt it fella :( it may be worth investing in a memory unit to transfer your saves onto.

Game shouldnt take the harddrive, theyll just swap the box id have thought.

If they do explain and get them to swap the harddrive from the new box with the one youve got ;)
