Achievement Guide

Note: All achievements except 2 (Zombie Horde, You're Not Brain Dead) won't unlock until the end of the level (Or match, if playing multiplayer)!

Complete a survival mission only using your wrangler pack.

There are a total of 3 survival missions in the game. Obviously, this is easiest done in the first one.

Just beat enemies using nothing but your wrangler. Once the time runs out, the level ends and you receive your achievement.

You could also just wrangle one zombie and run around the enclosed area, avoiding all enemies.

You are allowed to pick up health items.

Kill 25 Zombies using your ranged weapon in online Ranked Skirmish.

Just start up a ranked match and kill 25 enemies using your ranged weapon (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/rt.png).

Suck up 50 zombies in campaign, co-op, Ranked Multiplayer.

This one will definitely come on your way through the game, so no worrying here.

Defeat a Franken without taking any damage.

The best spot to do this is in the third chapter where you'll first encounter them.

After you've lured one Franken away from the other, either punch (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/x.png) to stun him or wait for him to do his jump-attack (Which will stun him after you've dodged his impact). Use your wrangler on him while he's stunned to rip out some sort of antenna off his backpack.

Avoid the exploding creatures by walking away - you don't want to shoot them or else they will hurt you.

You will need to do this 3 more times to finally suck him up. Note that he will release a high amount of that exploding creatures after you've downed him. Just walk away a few steps until they explode and don't worry - he won't get up again.

Wrangle a Zombie.

Simple. Just use your wrangler for the first time.

Defeat the final boss.

The final fight is split into 6 phases:

1st phase: 4 of the turrets will shoot rockets and groups of enemies come out of both doors.
2nd phase: 2 of the turrets will shoot rockets and groups of enemies come out of both doors.
3rd phase: A zombie ball will appear out of the left door.
4th phase: 2 Franken appear out of both doors.
5th phase: 1 Franken (left door) and a group of zombies (right door) will appear.
6th phase: The boss appears.

Now for the boss: To beat him, hit him once with your ranged weapon so he gets stunned. Once you've accomplished this, hit him with a melee attack (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/misc/x.png) from either left or right.

Since this doesn't make much damage and a massive amount of zombies will be spawned, this might get tricky.

Concentrate on the boss and stick with power-ups. One of the most important here is the zombie-disguise. Every enemy - including the boss - will ignore you, giving you plenty of time to land an attack.

Once you've finished him, get rid of all the remaining zombies and the level - just like the game - will end.

Destroy every Gloomex canister.

"Gloomex" canisters are the yellow-colored tanks which are halfway sticked into the earth, glowing a green shine.

Lord Gothic created this list, showing how many canisters are in each level. This will help you a lot.

You will find 1 gloomex canister in each of those 4 parts.

Find 20 Zombie Tarot Cards.

20 zombie tarot cards mean one in every level (This will also be stated in the game).

Most of the time, they are located around the stage. You might find them in trash cans, too.

You can check your collection, as well as their location, in the options menu found in the main menu.

Capture or Destroy all 10 Frozen Codebase shirt wearing zombies.

As also stated in the achievement description, you may either kill them with your ranged attack or suck them up with your wrangler.

Chapter 1 - Part 2
Found near the exit of the stage (Not the goal, follow the road to the barracade. From there on, go right and enter the fenced area).

Chapter 1 - Part 3 - Finding zombies
He spawns by the barricade where you need to go to finish the mission when you've done all the objectives.

Chapter 2 - Part 1
Go straight, it's to the left of the white building that looks like a factory.

Chapter 2 - Part 3 - The da zombie code
If you follow the road right until you reach the purple car and then take left. He should attack you when you are following the road up to the barricade.

Chapter 3 - Part 1 - How i met your zombie
Turn left at the beginning then keep going straight forward over the lawn until you reach a place with 2 tents and 2 fireplaces next to 2 houses. he will respawn in that area. you migth have to go a little bit forward for him to respawn.

Chapter 3 - Part 3 - My fair zombie
follow the road until you reach the red truck the take left. then you run over the lawn and past the gate in the wooden fence and he will be in this area (its also the area you go to finish the mission).

Chapter 4 - Part 3 - Zombies N the hood
Its 2 of them on this part.
Zombie 1 : in the beginning when you turn left he should be there in the lawn area. check the road to sometimes he spawns there.
Zombie 2 : in the area between 2 barricades. A entrance by the truck.its the same area you go after finishing all the objectives

Chapter 5 - Part 2 - The Zombie after tomorrow
In big parking area with metermaid and franken

Chapter 5 - Part 3 - Gone with the zombie
He will be running towards you, from the fenced area you'll see when you start the mission.

Play online with a player who carries the infection.

Score the most ZGU's in an online Skirmish match.

Sounds hard, but the only thing you'll need to do is win one match. Either ranked or player, it doesn't matter.

20 voodoo dolls mean one in every level (This will also be stated in the game).

Most of the time, they are located around the stage. You might find them in mailboxes (Suburbian areas) and in a cooler (When you first meet Franken), too.

You bastard! I was gonna start working on an achievement guide!!! Oh well haha.

You mighht want to let people know this about two of the achievements:

Tarot and Voodoos can be found around the stage. Cards can also be found in trash cans, and voodoo dolls can be found in mailboxes in the suburban areas. The only exception is the level where you meet your first Franken, in which case the voodoo doll can be found in a cooler (which is how I missed it the first time around haha).

ALSO: If you go into the options in the main menu you can view your Tarot and Voodoo Doll collections. These screens also state what episode the card/doll is in. I only noticed this AFTER I beat the game, so I'm not sure if they say where they are before you run through the stage or not.

If you missed any of these, you can always just choose to continue the game and go back for any of the collectibles you may have missed. (This was a concern of mine when I first started playing this game haha).

That was the one I missed. Must have ran right by him without realizing it, not once, not twice, but three freakin' times! Got it before I left for work. 200/200. Probably would have found him this morning but I had to do a partial run through to find them, as well as find the one ooze container I missed. ONE! Was in chapter four somewhere. Ugh, I hate collection achievements...

ATTENTION ZOMBIFICATION ACHIEVEMENT REQUIRERS!
I'm going to be on this morning between 7:30AM-8AM EST this morning (it's 11:25 PM now) to help spread the achievement (since not a lot of people have it yet apparently) but after that I'm done, if I don't get to you, sorry.

Possible Zombification alternate requirements:
When I got it, I hit 21 Z points, as well as 10 gold medals. I think it has an alternate requirement. Not sure if it's still in play now as it's nearly been 24 hours since the game went up, but give it a shot and confirm it. Some of the people who have it now I gamed against in the morning when I bought it, so it's no surprise it's starting to show up. So, if anyone wants to try to confirm instead of waiting on us infected, can you post the results so others know and that this method can be confirmed?

Also at the time I have used the vaccuum on two of the fat zombies pushing me OVER the 25 zombie points but I highly doubt that was the reason.

Haha thanks for the congrats. And don't worry...I'll do one one of these days, as I owe something to this site for helping my ass out haha. I just can't get over this game, I was so pumped about it because it's friggin' zombies, then I'm greeted with what seems like The Kids Next Door meets Michael Jackson's Thriller minus the music. Oh well, kept me entertained for a little while at least. I also grabbed Space Invaders Extreme and Arkanoid Live!

I MAY get 200/200 on SIE but I'm not going to push it. Arkanoid...feh, that's just something for me to play, not concerned about the achievements in that one. But with the help of this game I managed to clear 60,000. 40,000 more to go to 100,000 and e-famedom!
