View Full Version : End game?

Quick question - I am just before the end of the game in the following situation:
A and M families compounds left and ALL their made men
CIA guy is dead
I still need to get the Execution achievements - so question is, what's the best way?
Should I do all the made men first? Will it help towards the executions?
If I kill the families first can I still do the Execution one after or not possibly as all mobsters are dead?

Executions need to be done whilst there are still families available, if they're all dead, no more mobsters and its bye bye to the achievement. The best way to do the achievement is to see what you need and plan ahead. First, its much easier to get the achievements by going solo, so leave all your family behind because the buggers have this habit of killing the guy you're fighting when you're trying to get your execution. Second, some executions such as throwing someone through a groundfloor window can take a couple of tries, so consider sacrificing a business so you can keep going back and trying to get it. I also got a lot of my executions on made men as you can mark them for death and your family leave them alone, plus a lot of the made men require specific kills,a ll of which count as executions. I haven't done every made man, but I'd guess that by the time you get them all, you will have got all the executions. But I can't promise that, its just a guess.

Not all the executions are covered by the made men kills. The ones that I tended to have left over were the melee weapon executions. Make sure you plan which melee weapons you are going to need and pick them up before going for a made man kill. This means that you will be able to get the execution for the made man execution in addition to the melle weapon you have chosen which you can us on his guards.
You can pick up all melee weapons an the port in the South of Florida. (At the end of the pier where you met Roth before heading to Cuba.)
If you are still having problems by the time you have worked through most of your made men hits I would advise killing him in a way that wont have him permanently dead. (i.e. not with his specific kill condition) This means that he will keep recovering each time you attack him and you will have an infinate number of guards to finish all your executions on.
Try leaving one with a kill condition such as strangling or slamming agaist a wall, this way you can make sure you dont kill him permanently as long as you use a weapon and dont grab him at all.

Btw executions can be done after the game is complete just do them on the rebels outside the imperial casino in Cuba, if you need weapons just get them from the nearby police station and if you need environment ones just use the casino...
