Do you have to have that number totally? or just have that many collected over the course of the game?

It's over the course of the game. I was nowhere close to saving that many bricks when I got the achievement.

i beat the game and have done at least 5 levels. Yet still i do not have the 2.5...how many times did you guys go through it

I got the 2.5 million achievement right before I finished the first play through. I am working towards finding the rest of the canisters right now. I have almost everything unlocked except the extra levels.

If you need a little help with collecting extra bricks here's a little tip. Get to the final boss in the green/Jungle levels (sorry I forgot) the name. Once you get into hero mode back up into one of the corners and just unload the enemies will continue to come at you. I personally used the guy with the bomb (fully upgraded). This will also help with the creature victory achievements and the victories with each hero. If you still do not have all the creature victories you can do them in the bonus levels you will also collect the LEGO studs in the bonus levels.

guys i just did the stronghold mission.. And i think thats the one the guide writer is talking about.. Ileft my system on overnight and got the 2.5 5 mill plus all the vazaks killed..

yes i got my vahki kills aswell how long did pple play that final boss 4 as i played it 4 15 mins and still didnt get cheev

Decrepit Dungeons, it's the room behind the Black Boss Constraction :)

I got myself a cool 1million blocks on it earlier in about 30-40min.

There's a square room with 2 obvious exits towards the end of the level, after your destroy the enemies in there take the exit that leads downstairs and you'll find the black constraction which you can only build with the Boss character.

Once you've built this simply head through the door to the tube room and sit back and collect your lego studs.

EDIT: I found it was quicker to only kill the 3 crawling enemies as they respawn quick enough to fill your lego meter quickly. If you stand in a certain spot the flying enemies won't even approach you and you'll rack up the lego in no time :)

I think the easiest way to get the brick achievement (and set yourself up to get the game finished quicker) is on the third stage of the water (blue) level. Get to the boss and get into hero mode. DO NOT PUSH B. Tape your A button down and come back in about 7-8 hours. You should have enough for the achievements and buying most of the stuff (if not all) in the shop. It is great because you get here so early in the game. With all the legos you get you can buy all the power-ups and you can get most of the canisters on the first play through of the game.

i beat this section in the game and when i have the boss as my charectar those rocks get in the way so i cant build the thing. im talking abut the decrepit dungeons brick boost thing. why cant i build it? he just looks at it and theres even a blue flash around the thing but the boss doesnt do anything. edit: i dont get it, i tried doing boss builds on another level and that didnt work either. i know im using the boss vharectar and i know im buildiing the right thing b/c their black. is there a different charectar for these black builds? final boss maybe?
