help me decide

im thinking of buying this game i had it for my pc when it first came out and didnt leave the pc for a year the only thing holding me back is wondering how many people play on xbox live??

Do not bother because absolutely no one plays online, you may find one player in about fifty or so tries. Since you like myself has this game for PC, it's great but it unfortunately doesn't get better on 360 (Not even close). With little to no players online, lack of support from EA, glitches that aren't even on the PC version and the expansion not being released for 360 makes this not even worth getting for the price that it is now. Now I'm not bashing this game because I also spent many months playing this on PC but the port to 360 was just sloppy, rushed and not backed up at all from EA (This goes to Supreme Commander as well, except the EA part).

I don't really agree with you priest, I also have it for both and there are lots of people, that I know who play it. AlMOST EVERYONE ON MY FRIENDS LIST PLAYS AND THAT IS LIKE 70 PEOPLE, plus online is boring for pc, u have to download patches witch take forever, it laggs a lot more, it also has more complicated controlls. + sum of the glitches on the 360 are to your advantage.

Patches are irrelevant when it comes to downloading them because alot of games allow you to download them off the game itself and if you can't then you just get the patches of the official website (For me to fully update a game takes about 5-7 minutes, it takes longer installing the game). It must be your computer because it runs perfectly on my PC, absolutely no lag, almost no glitching and looks WAY better than the 360 version (It looks very muddy for 360).
The controls are more fleshed out for the PC, which allows better management of your army through micros (Which is the case for any RTS on PC), you just don't know how to play this game for PC because I've played RTS with much more complex controls.
You say you have 70 people on your friend list who play this game but they are on your friend list, we are talking about Okforuse who is jumping into the 360 version of this game fresh and may or may not have anyone on his friend list who play this game. I spent many weekends on my old and current account searching versus matches but rarely found someone, it however take less than two minutes for me to find someone on PC (It may be because I have the expansion, plus I can look for people on Hamachi or the community boards).
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to make this into a PC vs 360 thing but the way I see it Okforuse has it for PC, has had great response with it and he will not get the same on the 360 version (The leaderboards are also glitched, so new players entering the 360 version will never hit the leaderboards, no matter how many high ranks they beat, so your greatness, like mine, will never be shown).

is this true, the leaderboards are glitched, wow i never knew that thanks i will tell my friends it is impossible to 100% the achievements now because of in need of a lesson.
