I am lost on eagle mountain, help

hope someone can help
am on eagle mountain at the bit where the eagle first swoops toward you
i then swing across kill snake jump up a lot of levels and then there is a tree directly above me
i climb up the tree but i can't seem to see where to go next
one way i can jump to a platform ( in sunlight ) that doesn't go anywhere
if i go the other way there seems to be a ledge above the tree which i can't jump to as its too far away
please can somebody help me out

if im thinking bout the right bit then when you climb up the tree go right and there is a small drop go down there follow that along and go up a tunnel theres a snake and wanted poster if your after that aswell turn back around and youll see the next bit you have to jump up. Just out of curiosity you done the online achievemens yet?
