No... the first time I met him was at a O's game. He was in the box next to ours and invited us over to his suite to watch the game. He even paid for my Jack and Cokes.
Then while in NY at a conference I saw him at the ESPN Zone... not only did he remember me... he brought me another Jack and Coke.
The last time was at a Raven's game where he gave Kal-El an autographed Jersey.
Maybe it's my force persuade powers but he seems like the nicest, and coolest guy in real life.

Hard to argue with that - maybe I've fallen victim to the 'drive-by' (thanks Rush) media's slant on him.

I've also heard that Ray Lewis is a very down-to-earth guy and very nice off of the field. Good to see people like that in the sports world. To be honest, the majority of them are like Ray Lewis, but its people like TO, Maurice Clarett, Mike Tyson, Ron Artest, etc. etc. etc. that make athletes look like completely arrognt assholes, when thats usually not the case. Most of them are grateful for what they have been blessed with and are willing to give back to their fans in the exact way you've mentioned, whether it be a superstar like Ray Lewis, or someone who's being paid to keep Ray Lewis's bench spot warm..
As for my list, hell I dont know!!
1. Jesus (C'mon now, he invented cool!)
2. Tupac Shakur (I'm talking about the man himself, not the 2pac that was displayed half of the time. If you've ever paid attention to his life, this man stood for things we can't even imagine)
3. Me (Yes, I'm not as cool as Jesus or 2pac, sorry :p )
4. Hugh Hefner
5. Al Pacino
