I go through a laggy, glitching game and come out with 1500 - 2000 in warzone and im happy and this has happened twice.
End of game, exp counter comes up
(my current exp) (0)
I get no new exp added
why am i getting zero experience?

Because you're the host.

I've been the host before and lagged. It wasn't major, but it still was lag.
Then again, I also had like four laptops feeding off my wireless, so who knows.

Well in some cases it does. I've never personally experienced it but if you do a quick search you'll find several threads about this same topic.

i dont think because your host you get 0 exp? obviously not
i think its because when your a really bad host, it considers you lagswitching, and doesnt give you exp at all.
dont worry, does the same with me
need better upload speed on internet

Its true when your host and when you generally do good in a match (like double what everyone else has) the exp system tends to sometimes register this as 0 exp.
I personally think its due to the way epic punishes lagswitchers but the system in which a host in gears 2 who did well gets the same treatment due to the way they could see identify you as the same.
This could be explained as bad networking/broken updating on their part.

"Sigh" douchbag if your not gonna help him or try to inform him than GTFO.
He was happy that he did well in the game but he is pissed off that he did not reap the rewards in which he deserves due to a broken exp rewarding system made by epic.

Don't blame the guy because he has bad connection and he gets chosen for host it's not like he had a choice. Not everyone will have blazing speed internet because there can be many factors involved especially if you're wireless. I have FIOS 20/20 MBPS and my XBOX is connected directly to the router and i get the full connectivity however my brother's XBOX is wireless and he only gets 7/7 MBPS connectivity.
The answer is pretty simple Epic should have the match matchmaking system choose the person with the best internet connection to be host since they won't have a dedicated server. I have no problem with Epic's decision in wanting to punish Lag Switchers but if they are going to go this route then you have make matchmaking choose the best host. People with bad connection should never be host because now they are getting punished with those cheating Lag Switchers.

I think that Epic is "trying" to fix a problem by spraying febreze on a steaming pile of crap. I LOVE this game, but the fact that it is soooo easy for people to cheat at becoming host and then lag the game is annoying, so what is Epic's grand solution? Give the host 0 EXP, ooooooh, that'll teach them, and I'm SURE they will totally stop doing it (sarcasm if you couldn't tell). They need to DO SOMETHING substantial about this crap. They're basically not even slapping the wrists of people, and if it's hurting innocents as well for having a slow internet connection, that's even worse. If that's the case for the OP, I'm sorry bud, that sucks.
