Hey guys, it's rey again- and I've decided to get my hands on another set of double pedals to review, the Block Head Rhythm Maker Drum Pedal.Another peripheral I've decided to invest into to further my faux instrument curiosities.

Pros:
-Has adjustable spring at front end to adjust the pedal tension (pedal weight)
-Steel plate on top is very, very durable
-Aesthetically appealing
-Built in double pedal coupler
-Timing detection is pretty good (only tested on RB1 drums)
Cons:
-DOES NOT allow the pedal to be mounted beneath the drums! (see picture)
-Spring can be squeaky at times when going through trills
-Only supported for RB1/RB2 drums
-Built in coupler DOES NOT allow both feet down at the same time.
(a very big issue for those of us wanting that true double pedal feel- but can also be corrected by one of the retail db pedal adapters.)
Overall it's a pretty standard drum pedal, looks like an omega- but definitely does not play like one. If your looking for a cheaper pedal that runs pretty well this is a pretty good choice, but like my other pedal reviews this one does not support in box true double bass /w adapter.
7.9/10
It retails at 29.99 or 26.99 YMMV

Double Bass Adapters (True DB)
Omega Twin Rockers (http://omegapedal.com/twinrocker/index.html) / Roadie Box
Look for more of my pedal reviews to come :)
