I definitely am. All the advanced word I've seen on the game, it looks incredible.

Game Informer had a big article on it posted the other day here (http://gameinformer.com/News/Story/200903/N09.0323.1651.00304.htm). Raven says they've been working on the game for more than a year before the movie was announced (happened to tie what they were working on into the movie. And that they are pulling no punches and going for a full M rating. Sounds incredible!

OMG, I think it, you say it ;). I read an interveiw sayng that they may not be able to do a well enough job in getting 'Pool and Sabretooth to get them in a faithful way.

Which sounded like crap. I saw the trailer, it looks really cool, but I've been burned by past Wolverine/X-Men/Marvel games before to be wary.

But if the include Deadpool in this, automatic buy.

Same thing happened with Spider-man: Web of Shadows. saw in the pics they had Moon Knight... Had to get it.

Barely kept with the continuity of the comics for some of the movie, completely abandoned it for others. Added things to the story that don't exist, to make it "current"... I'm surprised the execs at Marvel (Avi Arad, specifically) went this way. It's disappointing. Hope the game is better.

Oh, and you Deadpool fans? Good news/bad news: he's in the flick, but you won't recognize him, because he's completely different from the comic version. Like I said, some of the choices they made had me scratching my head.

Wow, i really liked Ryan Reynolds in the movie, well the begining at least. I liked how he was being a smart ass.

The end pissed me off though, i mean i'm not even a a comic book fan and my knowledge was lacking, but even i know the end part of the movie was....wtf.
The game sounds exciting though, i mean it looks like it'll be pretty fun. The new lunge feature i saw them implement in the game looks like a fun way to kill the guards.

I spent most of yesterday spoiling myself on what was leaked, and I ended up reasuring myself that everything is gonna be okay. So basically, i'm even more excited to see the movie than the day before.

They have this game here on sale in New York but I don't if I should get it. Is it a must buy or a okay or no it sucks? And is there online achievements because I don't really think I'll play this game online.

Edit: My friend told me it's supposed to be a good game so I went out and bought it. It doesn't have any online achievements since it's only a single player game. I hate games that say " Xbox Live" on the top right corner when it doesn' have any multiplayer.
"Achievements, friends, and game-content download" it's printed in the back in orange letters so i guess that's the reason for "Xbox Live".:confused:

It's a very good game so far. It was worth my $70.Yes, they charged me $70 for a getting it a little early. It's not a must buy but it's a sure rent. It doesn't look like a hard 1000 so far. The achievement are very simple unless one of the secret ones is difficult.

I was thinking of recording some footage to demonstrate some combos and different executions in the game but all I have is a crappy camera and it might ruin the game for others since I'm well ahead so far.

Got the game on Thursday, I'm at level three now, but kinda stuck at the part with the three large statues :(

So far, game is pretty cool, combat is great, graphics are pretty good. The only thing that bothers me so far are some framerate hick-ups and little graphical glitches.

As a Wolverine fan, I am very excited for both the movie and the game. I didn't fall for past traps and I avoided buying any of the X-Men movie games.

I am strickly X-Men Legends 1 & 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

But I am pretty sure I am going to enjoy this game.

Not really but they are some mini bosses.

The movie looks a little dumb to me. I don't like the idea of monkying around with the original mythology too much. Even though I have not seen the movie, what I have read about DeadPool just sounds foolish. What makes DeadPool great is that he's a deformed lunatic. Such great source material out there and Hollywood just stupids it up.

I don't know if you've read the origin for Deadpool, but I think it works almost perfectly. He is essentially a failed experiment. From what I read on forums it'll work.

The game has been released in Australia already (27/04/2009)
I got my copy yesterday and have put atleast 11 solid hours into the game, and I am yet to complete it. I have been going for achievements, and trying to collect the dog tags along the way.

It's not the best game, but the amount of combos and decapitating takes the pain away.
