Beat the game in under 5 hours. Try and do the egg glitch to upgrade all your weapons too. :D

although alot of people say complete it in under 5 hours it doesn't always work,

i completed it in 2h 35 mins and didn't get it but when i got an S rank on all levels it unlocked, so i think its diffrent for people

No, it's definately not. You might have already had it, or you might not have completed the full game yet.

Me and a friend completed it under 3 hours and I got the message saying "Infinite Rockets" and he didn't, but we both had infammo for the rockets.

The thing is you have to have a picked up rocket luncher for the infinite ammo to work. I don't know about the S rank, but I had S rank on levels before I was going for the rocket luncher.

beat chapters with high times in it and yes you can rebeat normal to improve the times other that go in with a inf magnum you should have no problem

I beat the game, but it took me longer than five hours. So I started playing random levels to get all the BSAA emblems and on my last emblem it was unlocked.

I also didn't S-rank all the levels when I got my last emblem, so I think it's unlocked when you get all the emblems.

It is unlocked simply by beating the game in under 5 hours.. that is it. I can confirm it, as I didn't have all the emblems, nor did I have all the S ranks when I unlocked it last night.

I can also confirm it for being unlocked below 5 hrs completion, I had 5:25:46 as my Veteran Time, I played 2-2, cut it down by 30 mins, and unlocked the Infinite RPG at 4 hours 54 mins. Just replay the chapters you know you can get a quicker time on, it adds that time on instead of the slower one.

nah i've completed it in 2h and didn't get it because i already purchased a rocket launcher for the stockpile acheivement and when i went to special settings > Infinite ammo > all i had there was the guns that i baught the inf ammo for, No rocket launcher, but when i got my final S rank it unlocked for me.

maybe it's just my game i dunno but i'm sure a few other people have unlocked the rocket launcher in diffrent ways

It definitely works. I have it. Just beat it under five hours. Go to chapter select and see your total time and replay the chapter you took longest in to lower your time.

Good Luck!

ignore cutscenes (just keep pressing back button when a cutscene kicks in)
and try to avoid as many enemies as you can, also fully upgrade a magnum and buy inf ammo for it (info only works after you completed the game on any difficulty)

Just go back through the leves on easy, with some unlimited ammo guns. I did it with the MP5 in my stock, and a Pistol in sheva's. Its a breeze.

I just passed the game in under 5hrs. It said Infinite RPG Ammo unlocked, but when I go
special settings > Infinite ammo I don't see the RPG with infinite ammo. Any ideas as to what went wrong on my end?

you have to buy the unlimited ammo in the settings i believe. it unlocks it but you have to use your points to buy it

Not for the RPG, it's given to you for free, no Bonus Settings. It's the very last weapon on the list, right column, bottom weapon.

I'm not sure if difficulty level has anything to do with the factors for unlocking it.

I did veteran in like 4 1/2 hours and it unlocked (It's a breeze if you & sheva both have fully upgraded L. Hawks) I only got S rating for a few of the levels and had already got all the emblems.

the game requires you to achive A rank or higher on all levels for infinite rockets

Nope, you can get the RPG in any difficulty level, on Amateur I got 3 A's and 13 S's and the RPG with infinite ammo unlocked for me. So it can be any difficulty, just has to be under 5 hours.

The RPG ammo seems to be different for people. I got it today. I was playing through again. Started on 1-2 and ended on 6-1. I got the infinite ammo at 6-1. Never completely beat the game.

When I beat the game, I had already done the Egg Glitch so many times, I had a lot of weapons nearly maxed out. I had enough EP to get the Handcannon (or M500 for those non-RE4 people) Infinite ammo, which I promptly bought. I finished out maxing my weapons, and started going back to individual chapters to start shaving time off my 9+ hour completion time on Veteran. I'm now ranked 1600-something with a 2:55 completion time because of this.

:: Off topic...slightly :: Anybody want to take a stab at how these kids have between 1:17 and 1:22 completion times on the leaderboards??? What, do they just barrel through enemies?

I had gone through chapters that had ridiculously high completion times (like 43 minutes for 1-2, yea, I know...). I ended up with enough EP to get infinite ammo for the M3 shotgun, which helped out tremedously. Soon, I had shaved in excess of 5 hours off of my completion time and viola, the IRL was mine. I already had a RL left over from the marshlands, so I just dumped that in my inventory and shazam!
