In the achievements they say the guys names which are a bit confusing but i figured out who is who:
Nuparu- Dark with a claw that shoots explosive balls.
Hewkii- Gold with a rocket launcher.
Matoro- White with a zoomable gun "sniper".
Jaller- Red starting guy with a machine gun.
Hahli- Blue with a "wave/ray" gun.
Kongu- Green guy with a multi shot gun.
Also after each level the studs re appear in the main lobby area and also the doors above it can be shot for more, you can get like 5000 each time, just for some extra.
Take Hewkii and blow up the objects for extra studs, there are alot of objects that are breakable and they regenerate every so often also the enemies drop studs so instead of running by them take the time and get all your kills with your guys.
Also if your almost dead just pick up a helmet. They replenish your health. Usually if your in a battle with a boss they will have 2 or 3 so just camp by them and shoot the enemies from there.
