Noticed you didnt put in who should you room with, Pants. Does it matter as long as we follow your guide?? Should we just room w/ Arumat and others dont matter?

I believe he said to room with the newest person possible, and follow the Endings guide for the others if applicable... and yes, room with Arumat when you can.

Oh well .. im this far now ... if anything i can douse Love Potions .. if i have to , Arumats my only worry ..

By the way, regarding the PAs, I dont know if it has been mentioned here, but if you followed the brady guide (like me XD ) and didnt get Reimis final PA (the one on the calnus, once you land in Nox Obscurus), it is because the guide put it wrong. We should not have chosen on a previous PA take her to the stars, but instead, say that would marry her. That later choice is the one that trigger the final PA on the battle simulator.

Yeah Faize is only difficult because there are so many required events. Just stick with Arumat when you get him. There's one event where you'll need to room with Reimi but you can reassign right before and right after you do that event so it won't last long at all.

I don't know why everyone says Arumat is hard. I got his the first playthrough, and I never had him in the room with Edge. Edge was with Reimi the entire game. I did the private action where you battle him, and I won that. Then I talked to him after that battle. The only other PA's I did with him is the one where Bacchus asks you to talk to him for him to save his life, and the one with Reimi. I got his ending that way. He was also in my battle party the entire time since I got him, I'm not sure if that matters though, I think it did in previous Star Ocean's.

I'm following the Brady guide as well and was looking to clarify what Pants is saying. Is Reimei's ending still possible even if I screwed up that PA? Or am I going to have to worry about it on the next play through?

Yeah, I got all 9 endings doing what the Brady guide said (which was "take her to the stars"). Reimi is by far the easiest one to get.

Yeah you should let Faize win. It makes it easier to make Faize and Lymle roommates for a required PA for Faize's ending.

Faize's ending isnt really based on him Liking Edge right? Its more about him and Lymle having affinity? Hes practically in love w/ Edge anyways

I think Faize's ending is strictly based on doing the 8 required actions. Losing the fight increases affinity between him and Lymle, making it easier for them to room together which is required for one of the actions.

the one where she is sitting down in the battle simulator room. i believe its number 25 in the guide.

If you're explicitly following the guide you won't need Aroma of Love or Love Potion 256, but yes Aroma of Love will increase affinity between the roommates of the room you place it in.

thanks for all of your help, i really appreciate it. I simply dont have time to play games more then once, at least 100 hour+ games. I try my best to do all I can in my first run through.
