I heard rumours about it being released this year. My guess is around Christmas.

Everything I have read says it will be out for FY 2010, which could mean as early as Christmas time this year. No one really knows, but I hope it comes out sooner than later.

Yeah I'd say most likely Christmas time. For a game that will get loads of sales anyway releasing it at Xmas will just get it even more, and thats what the company wants. I can't wait for it to come out though :D

Really looking forward to the sequel, just hope they leave out the "find 600 flags" achievements this time. I really haven't seen anything about this game yet though

Apparently it's out late this year. However I wouldn't be at all suprised if it was pushed to 2010... or later.

That's one theory floating around (although the French Rev was in the 1790s, not 1600). I personally hope that it takes place in South America, during the Aztec period. There were a lot of aztec references in the blood on the walls at the end. In any case, I'm sure that AC2 will be great. I just hope that its a little less repetative than the first one.

back when they officially announced it they said march 2010 (as read on 1up and another website i cant remember).i posted that in another thread EXACTLY like this
