PA/Affinity question

from pants's guide with all the how to's on PA, he mentioned the following


You'll more than likely want to choose the PA with whatever character has been with you the shortest time to boost their affinity for you before the game concludes so you can get their ending.


is affinity a hidden stat, or is there a way for me to tell how i am doing? hopefully it isn't just a get to the end and hope for the best type of deal, and there is a way for me to tell if i have a high enough affinity to get a characters ending.

I cannot confirm this - but there is a ship furnishing *S*-item called a "Biorhythm Sensor" (or something like this, Biorhythm...) that you can place in anyone's room, and it seems to tell you how everyone is feeling.

I can't tell if it is related to affinity or not, but the forecast doesn't seem to change much for folks until after PAs. So far, it suggests everyone is having a lucky day except Meracle and Sarah (who both had well balanced days) and Arumat (I think it said his was not looking so good).

Yeah, I think that Bio-Rhythm thing can give you a general idea of how you're doing, but there is nowhere that gives you a flat-out stat for it.

I've only had Arumat a short while, I made him Edge's roomie and I have done the PA with him where you fight in the battle simulator and I won, but the biorhythm machine told me he was having a super lucky day.

Maybe it takes into account how far you are in the game? I haven't left the Miga Insect Warren area yet.

...or maybe it's just a magic 8-ball kind of thing and the response is completely random?

Who knows. To be safe, just try to follow the PA guide I made and don't pickpocket. :)

according to the guide, the biorhythm tester provides an analysis of each character's randomly fluctuating LUK stat.

so i guess in other words, that means follow the pa guide and hope for the best
