Who here supports the worst sports team?

I support Newcastle United when it comes to football (only sport I watch bar boxing).

Newcastle United achievments:

Haven't won a domestic trophy in 51 years.

Haven't ever won a real european trophy in thier history. (Won the FAIRS Cup in 69).

Have spent in the region of £200 million over the past 10 years, Chelsea have done the same and won the league twice. (Over 3 years in thier case).

Price in millions!

Bought Bramble for £4!
Bought Robert for £10!
Bougfht Viana for £9.5!
Bought Luque for £10!
Bought Bassedas for £6!
Bought Marcelino for £6! Out for four months with a broken finger one time!
Bought Shearer for £15 after letting him go for free as a teenager!
Had Saha on loan, decided not to sign him for the £750,000 they wanted.

i support the Kansas City Royals, we get a losing record every year now (but we finished just over .500 in 03)

im so use to them losing, it doesnt surprise me anymore if they lose

i was going to nominate the Royals :( .... being a MN Twins fan all my life, we went through a long stretch similar to yours after winning in 1991, but not as lonnngggg. you guys will hopefully crawl out eventually--but then i won't get to always look forward to all the games we play against you ;).

i do not follow football (soccer) that closely, so i do not have anything i can compare it to...sorry.

I am from Phildelphia, so I am used to supporting an underachieving sports team. Every year I look forward to the season, and then my hopes of winning are almost immediately destroyed. O and I am not an Eagles fan, so yeah I usually don't support the best of teams. The Flyers and Sixers are the worst teams in their respective leagues right now.

I support the texas rangers. Been too 4 playoff series in 30 years. 3 out of the 4 series. We been sweapt by the new york yankees. Never made it past the wildcard
