For most of the achievements, it's easy thanks to the guide and vids FightersPledge put up. I was having one hell of a time we two of the achievements haha. But, the rest are somewhat easy, just time consuming. I have about 8 left and have put in roughly 24 hours of game play (this include time walked away from the console). I got this the day it hit US shelves, but barely game that much anymore. It's easy when you level your characters up. I have Aya at level 100 right now, and I'm working on boosting Annne up next. Saki is, well, kinda pointless if you ask me.

I haven't finished normal though, I've been working on easy (which earns you a new character to play as when completed haha). I'm boosting on level 19, you get some good experience there. So as far as the achievements for the difficulties beyond normal, no idea, but the others area obtainable easily aside a few you need to have timing at, and as I said, there are vids and also a guide to make life easier.

...... the only new characters you can unlock are available through DLC. Also while playing new chapters (or new difficulties) of story mode you have to use whoever they assign to you (several chapters let you choose between Aya, Saki, Annna but no one else). Beating the game on easy doesn't unlock squat.

That said, you've got Aya at 100 and haven't beaten normal yet? The other difficulties aren't THAT hard. And Saki isn't useless in the higher difficulties, Annna is. You'll break your thumb in her solo levels because everything takes so many hits and the sisters are WAY stronger than she is.

Uhmm...I unlocked the hot chick with glasses and the sword as soon as I completed easy mode. You can only use her in freemode, which sucks. I think she's sexier then Aya...

And in regards to Aya at 100, I also just got Saki and Annna to level 100 earlier today (finally). I figured it would be easier for the survival achievement. Yeah, definitely helped haha. I have one final quest achievement left (baneful blood one) so I'm going to try to work on that one before I go to bed. Tomorrow, I start tearing through Normal mode (I'm on level 9 in Normal I think...) unless I run to Blockbuster and find a copy of Star Ocean...in which case...I'm renting it haha.

Anyhow...I just completed the final quest in the list, which you have to do in survival mode. I JUST got the 3rd part of that achievement and it took me roughly 2 freakin' hours with all the characters at level 100 and all skills maxed out.

I think I have carpal tunnel...I used Annna through, I'd say, 96% of it haha.

I hate to tell you this but you downloaded Reiko, check the marketplace if you don't believe me. It's possible (and bizarre) that she can only be played once the game is beaten but she isn't a reward for easy mode.
