Worth it for just guitar?

i've not played a guitar hero since 3 and was wondering if this and world tour are still as deep and good if you just own a guitar hero guitar?

i'm not really into all the instruments and i'm nearly 30 so don't really have too many friends over who would play with me but from those who have world tour is it comparable to 2 and 3 if i just wanted to play guitar?

Id say its just as good with just guitar. You can still play as a band online to. I got the pack, but only really use the guitar.
