Story mode glitch?

i am up to Exeunt and i still havent got the act 4 achievements yet? i dont know if this is a glitch as i dont know when i am ment to get the achievement but it seems very far in the game and i still havent got it.

my bad that was a stupid moment, just got the achievement, can close or lock or whatever.

This confused me as well. The main reason people get thrown off is because they don't realize the difference between an act and a level. There are multiple levels within an act, so you are going to finish a few levels before the act achievement. I unlocked Death-Proof without an act achievement, so I thought the game was glitched. i read the definitions, then realized that the don't die achievements are for a single level, not an entire act.
