i was forced into waiting until i could get a premium, or buying a core on launch date and i chose the core. and now i find out the premiums have a silver disk tray and the cores have white... damn it i thought i would just buy the accesories, but no, u cant buy a silver disk tray! damn microsoft... (this was sarcastic)

Ya I don't know why they chose to have 2 different tray colours. The silver one looks a lot better, while the white one I guess is to make you desire getting the premium system more.

yes, ill shoot him myself. i should get a dude to to come replace mine lol. ill have bill gates do it personally. all it did was give ppl what they didnt want by decreasing the number of systems that actually had the entire system. its not like 300 dollars is a whole lot better than 400 dollars, and evry1 would go for that.

Yeah i agree if they didnt waste so much time having to make cores as well as premiums, then obviously there would be more premiums around, as they would have more time to make more premiums ;D

I mean im no salesman but i bet you would get better results from that, cores are sh*te lets be honest now, i could have got core on day 1 but i decided to wait, i was lucky enough to get one less than a week later :D

I went through the same exact thing. Believe me, I was upset about the tray a little bit but finally decided am I really going to care about the disc tray color in 6 months? Probably not. The only problem I have with the white tray is that it will look like garbage with faceplates. White won't match as easily as chrome.

my blockbuster has like 3 premium, and 2 cores in stock, as well as harddrives and the lot...im sure that doesnt help you over there but over here you can pretty much get everything at asking price..

to be honest that really didnt make any since...only difference is the drive tray and the hard drive...all of what 5 mins if that to put in

yeah i know what you mean i actually had a pre order and then I found out that i was number 8 on the list so they told me that i was not going to get one on launch day. So my friend caped out for me untill i got of work and then i got stuck with a core. Two days latter i open it and 30 min. later i get a call and it is gamestop telling me that it has come in. Well it work out for me, i sold it for 750
