For the achievements where you have to do a leap of faith and jump through merchant stands, do the guards have to be chasing you for it to count? Cause I did them when they weren't, and I didn't get it. If they have to be looking for you, that is gonna suck.

Nope. You can simply jump through a single stall over and over until you get the achievement, no need to have a "wanted" level. The same for doing the leap of faith achievement. I got that one by simply climbing all the view points in the game and doing a few off of other buildings.

ViRaL is right. No guards need to be chasing you, and you need to do these actions as many times as the achievement says. It's 10 stalls you need to jump through, if I remember correctly.

in the 1st city (is it maysaf?) there is a long wall with birds perched at the top and a hay bale below. Is that one?

is there a post story world (world after you beat the game) so once I beat it I can go looking for missed flags, templars, view points, etc? or is it like fallout 3 where when you beat it, it's over?

Hi,

Regarding jumping through merchants stands, wait till you get to the other cities,it should not be a problem.

You can do the flags, templars, etc after you finish the game.

Hope this helps.

Blackbolt.

Excellent. I need something to do 'till march 3rd (halo wars and new halo 3 maps), so I can do the story now, and come back for the extras afterwards.

Yeah, you sure can. And to answer your other question, yes, that wall with the birds is probably a leap of faith. The way to tell is if you hear the sound and he goes into his dive animation. Good luck!

the sound like an eagle's cry?

I played through the 1st block awhile ago, got a few flags, etc. if i do a "new campaign", will the flags reappear in that new campaign so i can keep track of where i found them, or are they considered collected on every file i may ever make, and i'll never see them again?

If you start from new all the flags will be back in the original place, plus you will lose all your abilities.

However, you don't need to start from new,try and avoid the flags if possible till you have finished the game, makes it alot easier to follow the flag map from assassinscreed.com.

Again, try and leave the templars too.

Hope this helps.

Blackbolt.

Right, the one that sounds like an eagle. As blackbolt said, if you start a new game, everything will reappear and you will lose your progress toward any achievements as well I think (but won't lose any you already have). If I am remembering that correctly, they have to be done on the same save file, so if you've already done like 20 leaps of faith, you will be back at zero on a new file.

I did over 100, but no achievement. And I did the I think 20 merchant stands. None there either. It's why I asked for verification of LoF locations and about the guards.

I'll likely restart cause I like my storyline in one dose, not some a long time ago, and some now.

Hi,

Regarding the leap of faith,it's no good just doing it from the same spot if thats what your doing?.You have to reach high points in the cities too.Cities will have 7,8 or 9 high points,do your leap of faith from them.

Hope this helps.

Blackbolt.

the merchant stand on is easy and you can do it in minutes. Just jump through the same stand over and over again.... Achievement Unlocked

As you travel to Damascus (I think), you will come to a market outside of the entrance to the city. Jump through all of those stalls, then go inside the city and jump through the stalls in there. That will net you the achievement.

As you progress through the game, keep tapping (A) during cutscenes to get the memory glitches, always talk to lucy until she tells you to go to bed after a memory for conversationalist, and always do EVERY investigation before assassinating someone.

Save all civilians in the area, climb all reach-high points (Towers with a plank of wood sticking out and an eagle circling), all pick-pockets, etc. This will net you another achievement at the last assassination for full synchronicity.

Also, if you do this, around the time of your last assassination, you will (because you did everything earlier) will recieve 3 Defender of the People achievements.

Hope that helps. :)
