Do you guys have any tips on beating the Jet Set series? It's hard enough to even complete much less get the AAA rank...any tips fellas?

Hey Garrett. I am still missing 12 AAAs and 8 are JSR. They are really tough.

i did mine with sonic and it took me ages to get a almost to get it right,
The only thing i could suggest is when you start the stage see if its a easy one to do if not re-start is till you get a easy one

I used Alex Kidd to get all AAA ratings but there are a couple events that due to the random generation of the tags makes the AAA ratings practically impossible if you get stuck with longer tags like the six-colored EGGMAN.

Don't forget there is a drop-shot you can use that is done by pressing X then A that will put the ball very close to the net.

For the event where you have to hit Combo, stay in the spot where you begin and then decide to either hit left, straight, or right, depending on his speed.

Pay attention to what button combinations hit which letters. For instance the big R can always be hit with a simple press of the X button whereas other letters are always hit with up+right+A+X or left+X or down+left+X or down+right+X,A.

So far Ulala has given me the best results, but I'm still missing 2 AAA's in this section :(

This is quite possibly the LAMEST stage I have ever seen. :mad:

Omfg this is pissing me off.

7490/7500 for the SCORE WITH COLORS!!111 crap. Wow. :eek:

I now hate this game so ridiculously much its not even funny lol.

omg it so hard, upto hitting a combo. Best i can get is 6. How many do you need for AAA? Anymore tip for this stage?

It was hard enough to get A on them let alone AAA.

This one and the monkeyball ones make me want to break the disc in half at times.

One day i might be able to 1000 this. One day....

If its an constilation, my disc has begun to crack from the centre. Its gonna split soon :(

i find that its best to use tails (or someone else with "spin" specialty) because you can control the ball for a bit after you've already hit it.

Ok bought the game again. It been a year or too. I tried playing last night and finally beat, that damn combo lvl. Im now upto tag expert. What do I need to AAA this? Is crazy this game....

Also for that hit combo, i just keep hitting to the left. If the guy was moving faster than normal, hit for the right. Never had to aim for the middle if you fast enough to hit to the left.
