Making DLC achievements optional for checklists

I for one am not a very big fan of DLC, as most of the time getting 1000 gs on any particular game is enough for me to never want to play it again.

My gripe is that the checklists automatically incorporate the DLC achievements whenever they are released, making my stats and list seem incomplete. I hate getting the 1000, then getting the 100% taken away (some OCD, i know:p) because i don't want to fork over $15 on a weak expansion island. Just my opinion, but why not have the DLC achievements as optional achievements that you can add to the list if you want?

But then your Completion Rate wouldn't be correct. It would look like you have for example an 80% completion rate when you really have say 70%.

There really isn't anything we can do about that. We can't make the DLC as a separate checklist or anything like that, and for the few people who don't want the DLC on the checklist, I'm sure there are tons more who would be pissed if they had to use a separate checklist. Sorry!
