Blowing buildings up side missing issue

I have had 2 side missions where they want me to blow up a building. The last one was a gas station. I went to the station and was able to walk through the wall and not just the door. I planted all 5 bombs all over the red circle area and I didn't get credit for the bombs.

Has anyone faced this before? How can I fix this glitch?

Can anyone please help? This game seems pretty fun, but pointless to play if I get stuck in a mission that won't register completion.

Just go back to the guy who gave you the quest, talk to him and he will send you on another random quest.

This is exactly what happened to me, every single time I got this mission I had to drop out of it. I don't think there is a way to get around the glitch.
