Zombie Warning in Virginia

So my friend on the East Coast runs into something interesting while driving home tonight, he takes a blurry picture on his iPhone and sends it to me with the following sentence:

Game over man...game over! This was a road sign last night...apparently someone hacked into the transit system and made the signs say it...must be a Left 4 Dead fan.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but to all of you who are so excited about a zombie apocalypse...

You will be zombie food, or die of starvation.

While I am sure since videogames appeal to people of all walks of life and there will of course be a few exceptions, but realistically anyone who genuinely looks forward to a zombie apocalypse either.

1. Does not require the maturity to properly survive in such a situation (you actually think it would be fun?)

2. Does not require the athletic ability to survive in such a situation (if you worked up a sweat trying to unlock mile high club, that dosen't count.)

3. Do not have the survival or combat skills needed to survive (Playing command and conquer does not give you the strategic knowledge necessary to avoid giant zombie swarms, call of duty does not teach you how to use firearms and soul calibur does not make you an axe wielding killing machine, also if you played metal gear solid, attacking an alligator does not cause a neatly packed lunch to pop out of it's stomach.)

4. You are batshit crazy (A real zombie apocalypse is extremely physically and mentally straining, not only is the initial outbreak quick and troublesome, you must consider that other survivors are also a large threat, overtime you are going to have other people who thought a zombie apocalypse was a great idea, but they are so mentally "out there" they will just as likely shoot you as well as any other zombies. There will be no police for you to run to, no one to protect you, it is survival of the fittest, if you think running to wal mart, barricading the place and grabbing some cheap rifles, shotguns and an axe will help you survive, you will just be a tasty packed lunch for the zombie hordes.

It's not really "hacking" at all, and it's pretty lame of the media to toss that around. It's shitty sensationalism. Those signs are the easiest things to mess with. Most contractors are lazy and/or apathetic and just leave the control panel box open. All it takes is some common sense and sneaking around at 1 AM and you can edit them to say whatever you want. "ZOMBIES | AHEAD" is getting old pretty fast - someone should just be more devious and do something like "RD CLOSED | USE DETOUR | --->". ;)
