Does anyoe know how to beat this old ninja?

You have to hit them until they turn red and the enter focus and press x till they are all dead, you must kill them all while in focus before it cuts to the next part. You will have to do this a couple of times.

By far, to me at least, the easiest method was.... Combo like crazy into a group of them. Keep doing combos (XXX YYY XXX YYY) the whole time, keep hitting LB. Once your Focus meter or whatever become full you go into Overfocus. You've now got 5-10 seconds of slaughtering. Every attack will be a full strength focus attack, killing everyone in 1 hit. You'll have to do this several times, but it works great.

this was definitely the hardest part of the game for me on hard mode, but i think the best strategy is going back to the edge (behind you when you start) and you'll notice some raised rocks, try and stand between them and ninja ninja won't spawn any more clones, and they will only attack you one at a time, which helps alot. i tried the overfocus tactic but it didn't work for me cause they would just swarm me and before i could even blink i was dead.

Yeah, on hard I wasn't able to use the over focus method. I just parried and focus charge X.

I just finished this level on hard in about 3 minutes, counting the cut scenes. This is what I did.

I'm not sure if this is something everyone knows or something I just learned, but when playing the Empty Seven level on hard I learned that once in focus I could make an unlimited number of focus slices as long as they were perfect slices and were hits.
When I came to the Ninja Ninja story, I charged into the first Ninja Ninja I saw with a quick BBB combo then went into focus. There are so many Ninja Ninjas that I was slicing 3 or 4 with every swing. I finished the first and second portions of the battle with just one multi-slice focus each. The third section took me three focuses.

I didn't have any trouble with Ninja Ninja in hard mode, all I did was block and wait for one to hit me and then I would go into focus and do a horizontal slice and depending on what Ninja Ninja did I would either aim up or down. I did this for the entire battle with him and only got hit like two times.

All you have to do is,make as many perfect slices as you can then hit LB to perform a Overfocus should take a couple of times.
