Does anyone know if this actually does work? I have a small home theater system and I just wanted to know if this would work. I can't sing at all (even for these games) and I really want these achievements, since I can't get the BWT ones by myself.

No, it doesn't work. You will have to play Bass while you sing to get Platinum Artist by yourself.

The vocal charting on the game is done by a chart developer by listening to the song. There are mistakes and interpretation differences between what is actually sung by the artist and what is required for you to sing.

That doesn't work, trust me, I tried so many times!
I also have a surround sound, tried on each speaker whichever does the highest volume on the vocals..
Try singing them at falsetto, or lower and still match the pitch..
yeah, i didnt bother getting the endless setlist achievements..
its a pain, really!
