To short!

I bought King Kong and completed it in about 4 hours, what was Ubisoft thinking when they made this game. It costs the same as PDZ or something but it only has 3-6 hours playtime. They should've made a online mode or something, just to make the playtime longer...

I thought this game was horrid. Repeatitve, bad controlls, dark graphics. Didnt even play it through to get the points quit after a couple hours and 300 points. F King Kong !

lol, well, its really not developers fault when the game is 2 short. well, sometimes it is, but like with games like cod2 (fairly short) and kameo(also pretty short) they still have several, several missions (like 27 in cod2) but ppl r so into it they just beat it really quickly. thats y the inclusion of coop or multiplayer can make or break a game.

CoD2 has online gaming, Kameo coop and A ranking achievements so they both still have a 'purpose' after completion of the story mode. As i said, King Kong misses the extra feature achievements. They make the game worth replaying

Is it true that the cheat codes disable the achievements? I heard it did, I also heard that there's no point to them, but after playing for a few hours I'm finding the game harder than most people have apparently.

cheats wont affect achievements, i used the machine gun full ammo and invincibility throughout the game

you don't need to use the cheats, the game is pretty easy to complete. Sometimes you just have to figure out how to get past a V-Rex with Jack, but that takes 15 min extra....

I don't know.. I don't think it's that the game is hard, just sometimes it's hard to see where you're going and on top of that they have animals attacking you. So it's like you're fighting against two separate problems.

yeah the developers did say that the game was dark. and they recomended only plaing it on HDTV

i didnt played it on a HD-TV and it wasnt dark at all...

and yeah, Pantera Opeth, the game isnt that hard. If ur looking for a way through you sometimes forget to avoid being killed by animals ::). sometimes you get killed, but when you restart at the last checkpoint you know where to go and you can pay attention to avoiding the animals.

yeah, the story was great. although it already existed (older Kong movies)...

some of the 'chapters' were crap, theres one chapter in which you have to walk to Kong (when he's captured). Then that guy sais something and the chapter is over, why make it a different chapter, it only takes 2 min to complete it :-\

I have been thinking of getting this, but if it's only a couple of hours long, then there's not much point. I would just be better off renting, like one or two others have said before me. Is it a good game though?

I rented it and loved it....the production value is great and the graphics especially during Kong were amazing. But yeah, I would only suggest renting it since the replay value is null.

I play on a HDTV and this game was still too dark. Also I think it was because all the colors were the same that it looked so assed to me. I hate when games say "Do this, then this, then this, even though it makes not sence, because we told you too." Like the is a old rotten wooden peg in those pricker bushes. Set the place a blaze but dont worry about the peg catching on fire, "Its special." Or, you can cover the fire to go under that min water fall directly in your way, BUT you can throw it through this window, into a pond, and dont worry it wount go out. Yeah that makes a lot of sense. Again I hate "puzzle" games and I also hate "weak action" games. Prince of Persia rocked. Because it was fun. I dont even recommend renting this turd, but if you have to, then you have to. Just dont buy it.

And Madden 06 on 360 is the best football game of all time :P Havent played NBA Live yet so cant compare but like I said I hated Kong more then anyother game in a loooooooong time. Now are you saying its the best movie game of all time or the best movie remake? I dont agree with either but better movie games : Star Wars KotoR I & II, The Lord of the Rings movie games, LotR Battle for Middlearth, Star Wars Battlefront I & II, Star Wars ep I Racer. This game is more on the level of Bad Boys: Miami Takedown.

I bought it like a moran not knowing. I did enjoy it i beat it in 2 sittings. got my full 1000 points and its now collecting dust. whatver.Its defently worth the rental. it is an enjoyable game but very short.

You're just like me, i pretty much collect video games, i refuse to sell anything that i get, even if i dont play it, hell, i have plenty of games for the past generation that ive bought and havent even played ONCE..

As for King Kong -- I just started playing it today, got 300 of the points so far, not hard at all to me except for when theres things attacking u and u have no idea where they're attacking u from.. lol.. And i dont have an HDTV, and i dont find the game to be too dark at all

Its fairly enjoyable so far, should have it finished before the weekends over and then BACK to gamefly..
