What up guys? This has been a pretty good year for the 360 and I wanted to know everyones opinion on what the GAME OF THE YEAR should be.


1. Gears of War
2. Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion
3. Prey
4. Dead Rising
5. Hitman: Blood Money

Well I'm picking Gears of War since it will be out very soon, and there's no doubt in my mind it will blow everything else out of the water.

Game of the year is going to be Gears of War and Splinter Cell: Double Agent will be the runner up.

Give me a couple weeks and I'll have a better idea for my Games of the Year. Gears of War, Call of Duty 3, and others are not yet out, so I can't make a decision right now. Although I'm pretty sure they will be among them ;)

Not sure yet as I haven't played/finished all the GOTY contenders but here are some possibles IMO:

Final Fantasy XII

Right now I give it to Oblivion but Okami, GOW and FF12 all have a shot (BTW for the people that know I've hated most turn-based RPGs including FF7, the Gambit system rocks my shit hardcore) with R6 being the long shot, but that demo impressed the hell out of me.

Gears of War defiantly has to be the Game of the Year. I can't be convinced otherwise. In my opinion it did something very few games ever do which is live up to the hype.
