Ok this is from a few of everyons tips and a few of mine.

Start up a season with a NHL Player with a rating between 85-95.

Make the Difficulty Rookie and keep the rest where they are.

Now since it's on Rookie and your players overall is high you can easily score.

Now you can either play through 3/4 of the season legit and if your up on the scoring charts or whatever you goals are, then simulate it and don't play any of the. (If you get sent down to the minors, don't worry about lossing your tophies for the season) You can also sim every game until it gets to the (2) 3rd period which happens to have 5 minutes left in the game.

Now when you get sent to the Office with them saying you won X amount of trophies, save and quit. Start up a new Be A Pro Season and do the same thing as above. This will net you 162 games and you will obviously get it your 150th game.

Your Position Scoring isn't hard to bring up if your having trouble, but Teamplay obviously is for some of us, so just pass it a lot when your in YOUR Zone. Stats is very simple, score a goal and you get an A+, if you don't you may get a B- or B.

Yeah, but by doing all of that you cheat yourself out of the fun of going from 'a nobody to somebody' that Be a Pro is all about. I started with my rookie character (with diff set to Pro) and FINALLY scored my first goal in like the sixth game of my career. I've got to tell you, it was probably the greatest videogame sports moment I have ever had. I was jumping and cheering because I had spent the last five games playing so poorly (wild shots, time in the box, ect.). I literally felt like a real minor league hockey star that had finally come into his own. The fact was highlighted when I was able to snag and easy last second goal on an empty net, thus making my alter ego the #1 star of the game.

You know, about six months ago, I whined about how NHL 09 was just going to be another year of rehash--most sports titles are most of the time. This one is not. I have only ever played three sports games that I consider innovative and fresh:

NHLPA '93
Tecmo Bowl
and now...
NHL 09

Dude I don't know if you have noticed but this is an achievement guide website, I made this guide for the people who want this achievement. Obviously you don't want the achievement as badly as this website is meant for, so you didn't need to comment saying what you said. I don't know if snagging an empty netter is as great as getting a goal with the goalie in the net but congrats. I only play Franchise anyway so I don't really care for the BAP except for Online.

Jesus, dude. You need to relax. Do you flip out in every thread you post in, or just the ones you start?

Jesus, dude. You need to relax. Do you flip out in every thread you post in, or just the ones you start? You obviously didn't read what I posted, because I didn't flip out, I was just pointing out a (point). You just posted on something that a lot of us made for your own being. The fact that you said we were cheating ourselves out makes it seem like every achievement guide on here is cheating every achievement, it's simply helping out the people that don't like BAP or want the achievement quickly so they can play the BAP without worrying about their grade.

NHL Pro mode?
or create a player and put him on an NHL team then do Be a Pro mode?

and do you also have to complete all of your expectations for that season?

and do you also have to complete all of your expectations for that season? Go to Be A Pro Mode and it will aloow you to choose, Be a Pro or NHL Pro, and no I didn't complete my 70 assists goal but those expectations completed give you XP for your BAP, so you don't really need to complete them.
