Why say this?

Cause I am now 21 hours in and only have 500 GP

And I still have 95% of the side missions to do, I'm halfway through liberating the island, halfway through the Takeover missions, got a few collect missions left and all the races...

Damn you 1k in Just Cause, but I WILL do it ;)

its not that bad, the only part that really gave me problems was the canyon race!

How many hours did you put in though man? Seems like a lot to me.

See what you mean about that race!!! lol Especially when you have to go through the two chimneys!!

Done all the races, liberating of provinces and takeovers and I've clocked up 27h 52mins.

Just need to do all the side missions and plane and boat then I'm done. Still I think with the size of the map and distance you have to travel between things, it still seems over whelming :p

At this point, is the game still fun or has it become a chore to complete?

Definitely a chore. The main storyline was fun and while the takeover and liberating missions can be fun, they get tedious and monotonous after a while.

If I hadn't have rented it, it would be covered in dust by now ;)

Doing the side missions will take you a couple of hours tops. When I did them I found the yellow side missions were easier because they are really simple and fast (i.e. blow up a helicopter, make a dropoff, steal something, etc) and you do all your traveling in a helicopter that is stored on the roof of the mansion. You can also stay in one place and the missions just repeat themselves but you still get credit for doing them over again so there is no need to travel from question mark to question mark which saves a lot of time.

Im also finding the game to be a chore to complete which is a shame because the world is so big but everything to do in it is so repetitive. :(.

Thanks for the hint man, I'll look into doing all the side missions tomorrow. I've just done the stunts and I've had more than enough for today :(

This game is as big as any other game world out there, but as many people have says, it's just so god damn repetitive, unlike the vast world of GTA or Saints Row (not as big in scale, but plenty of variety), which is such a shame really.

It does look awesome still, even after 28 hours :D

Mine was like about 30 in the end, spent too much time crashing helicopters and sky diving from 6 miles up to do it any quicker :p Thank god it's done now and GameFrenzy are getting this bad boy back! lol :woop:
