On the 25th of this month, when I set up GH:WT for my 360, will I have any problems with the drums? I hear the first batch of instruments never worked well, but then I hear they reproduced them of a higher standard and may work better. I don't know what to think. Will my instruments break, or not register, or over register my hits/strums?

This is my only concern for this game.

Will I, who have bought the game few weeks back, have the "new set of instruments"? Or is the information I heard a load of crap and I'll be getting the same stuff as everyone else has.

Thank you.

You will probably be fine. Out of my ten or so real life friends who have bought the game since it came out, only one person had them break (naturally me). They are high quality now and there really weren't all that many that broke in the first place. My only advice is to hit the pads very softly at first, because if you hit them too hard they may begin to have problems registering.

There was quite a lot that was broke at first :P lol. But since you are in the UK i would imagine the kit will be fine as i think thats why the date got pushed back. Try ordering one of them MIDI cables of the support site so you can maybe fix them if there is trouble. If there isn't and you have the lead you could always try selling for a couple quid lol not sure you will though lol.

I got the guitar bundle, and I'm in the UK and it broke after 3 songs, strum bar just packed in. Took it back and got the game solus. Stuff the new equipment.

Thanks for the help. Beside the 3rd guy, you actually helped me feel a little better about the hardware.

Lol sorry Gorjira, I'm only being honest. The drums may be different but I wouldn't recommend you buy the guitar, the best is by far the GH2 X-plorer. I've got/had 5 guitars - X-plorer, 2 LP's, RB Fender and had the WT guitar. Both LP's cranked too. And the name's GTukC - nice to meet you :).

I bought the Guitar Bundle and my first guitar was broke, took it back to HMV with no troubles (apart from stupid guy at the shop with questions like are you sure your xbox is on and have you tried connecting it) i got an exchange and the guitar is the best on yet in my opinion then the x-plorer followed by sg and les paul last.

It's funny how drastically different people rate the guitar controllers. I'd put the old GH1/2 SG at the top of my list, the only time it didn't work was after it had been intentionally smashed on the floor. Then it'd be the WT guitar, strum bar feels weird and is very unreliable(touch strip also garbage. That only leaves the Xplorer for last, I just can't stand the shape and how small the neck is. Strange that I rate the LP so highly when I've gone through 7 or 8 of them, but when it's quality it's fantastic.

The LP is the best. If it were a woman I would make babies with it...

if both my lps were not broken id be a lot better off... cause now my WT gtr is double strumming/ not registering... The orange cymbal on my WT drums is broken, my RB1 drumset is fucked up, and believe it or not, one of my 2 X-plorers is broken (i know, right?) so now i can either play w/ my WT gtr and hope nothing weird happens (which most of the time nothing does), or i could play with my non-broken Xplorer (which i dont really like the buttons on, and the strumbar is really small and loud)... sheesh.
