200 chains ach?

stupid question but what is a chain exactly? I thought it was how many unions you have beaten in succession in one area

Because I just been in Blackdale trying to get 200 but for some reason after I get over 100chains It just resets some times it will go over 100 but still resets shortly after. Am I doing something wrong?

Killing one unit = +1 to chain.
So if you kill a union consisting of 3 units you get +3 towards the chain.

Leaving the map causes the chain to reset.
Being ambushed also causes the chain to reset.

Try Dilmoor or Alycleff(I forgot the name but it has tons of Landworms that respawn and can help with another achievement that involves killing 30 monsters in one battle).

use rb to activate timeshift. that way you're a hell of a lot less likely to get ambushed. But yeah. Do it later on it Alyclyff with the landworms. Or mojcedo castle in balterosa or whatever it's called.
