Cannot access some XBLA arcade games...

Just wondering if this is a byproduct of the Live shutdown. Some of my full retail Live arcade games are coming up as Trial versions (some, not all).

Has this happened to anyone else?

I was going to use the downtime today to move a little closer to completion of endless mode in Bejeweled 2. Alas, that's one of the games that won't work.

This is to do with if you have deleted the games and re-downloaded em.

This also happens with some of my games but in my case it is due to the fact that i downloaded some of my arcade games before my first 360 died and when they sent me a new one i can now only play the trial versions of those games unless i connect to live which is bullsh*t really as its not my fault but thats life i suppose.

Also if you take your HDD to a friends house you would only be able to play trial versions unless you recover your account. ;)

Strange thing is, I have never deleted an arcade game from my hd. I can play Scramble, Time Pilot, several others, but no Astropop, Bejeweled 2, Feeding Frenzy, Geometry Wars, MBU.

I understand what you're saying about re-downloading content, but as I said this doesn't apply to me.

Any other ideas?

Have you ever sent your 360 for repair? Or moved your HDD to another 360? Or recovered your account on another 360?

I did send mine in back in April, but got a new one in it place. Never moved the 360 hard drive to another unit. Definitely did not do recovery on another console.

Maybe this is just an anomaly that I am facing. Everything should (hopefully) be back to nornal once Live returns.

Im able to play every arcade game i have but the achievements wont unlock for me. last night i played hearts to try and get most of them and i won 7 games which shoulda given me the 10 wins. and today ive been counting and ive played 30 games and won 13 so either something is messed up or im screwed

The HDD knows it is connected to a different xbox, i'll wager you can only play the games you bought after you got your new one?

Im in the same boat and its rather annoying.
