EDIT: All I did was launch PDZ, invited him to chat and it worked ... So much for all that crap, don't need any help anymore ! :p
Hey guys, I'm having some problems with the chat room. I can chat with most of my friends (US) without a problem, but when I try to chat with my other buddy (Canada) is says 'Joining Chat' instead of 'Now Chatting'.
I have a Webstar modem (old school, I know) and a wireless Linksys router. I searched up the forums, and they they say change your ports:
If a firewall exists between your Xbox console and your high-speed modem, you may have to configure the firewall to allow network communication on specific network ports. The following ports must be available for Xbox Live to operate correctly:
•UDP 88•UDP 3074 •TCP 3074
Can someone give me a baby step throughs with what I'm supposed to do please, I'm ripping my hair out !
