One of the best, but my vote goes to Samurai Warriors 2 right now despite bad reviews this game got here in North America. If they add some extra content soon for Godfather I'll probably change me mind in time.

I bought this along with 3 other titles when I got my 360, this one is the only one that hasnt found its way back to the used rack at a gamestop. Nintendo has a version of this game coming out for wii soon with some extra content so I'm definitely runnin out to grab that one.

Well I had this on PS2 and enjoyed it thoroughly despite never watching ANY of the films, I am however a big fan of Mafia/Gang films such as Goodfellas.

I considered getting the blackhand edition for Wii or even holding out to see if I get a PS£3 and go for the Dons edition, but in the end fairly easy Gamerscore + A game I like = TEH WIN!

The Godfather kicks a$$, no doubt about it. It used the GTA style well without blatantly ripping it off, and it used the movie well. Shame there isn't a greater variety in the side-missions, though.

I love this game too, the atmosphere in the game is just like the movie. I traded this one a week ago, and have played over 48 hours now. But I have to say the storyline is rather short, but the sidemissions keep it fun to play

That should never happen ever! 2nd, the amount of time it takes to get to level 50. I have put 45+ Hours into the game and have done just about everything. I am only missing 1 film reel and 10 Executions, and I am only about maybe 25% to level 50. I have given up on getting to level 50. That really sucks. 3rd, the fact that the gamerscore only goes to 835. What the hell happened there?

If I can help you buddy, just complete your executions style...it will net you a nice 100k respect pts...should get you very close to level 50...:)

The game is fun, yes. I have put in about 18 hours and am level 24, about halfway through everything.

Suprised is how I would describe it too. I rented it because I was bored of everything else at the time. Ended up buying it. The amount of effort and detail EA took the trouble of going into was a real pleasant suprise. Its certainly worth checking out at least by renting.

I enjoy the old timey cars. The sharp attire the mob wears. Its a GTA with some class. :) I just hate the long pointless bridges traveling time is like sometimes 45 seconds- almost 2 minutes to get to the next objective.

Also, everyone in the game has detail and an "ok" attempt at HD graphics, why is the main character stuck looking cell shaded? Kind of takes the realism out of the cut scene chats.

I'm stuck at level 49, wish they had an option to "resurect gangs" or something.

All drawbacks aside, I really liked this game, I recomend it. I also like the feature of having my stats shown on Xboxlive when people look at what game i'm playing. It says my location, my level, and how much money I have.

OFF TOPIC: You could try: bribe a lot of cops and hire an assistant (at one of map locations with the head icon on it)

Find wall cover (press X to do this)
use ur magnum to get head shots on the gangsters that the cops and ur buddy miss.
Take over the compound slowly, and while inside use ur Tommy gun or shotgun. Don't worry about conserving ammo, just kill the mobster before he gets a chance to fire at you first.

this game is $19.99 used so is it worth it to pick up cuz scarface was a let down and I really love the godfather but Im not sure if I sould get this game. I most probably will but would like to kno.
