lve been playing the game for 2 hours and its crisp. lt looks realy good and its fun just like Chaos Theory. Im gonna try and get this game the night it comes out

Would be better if microsoft would get there finger out and give us all a better download server been downloading splinter cell demo for hour and a half only at 38% which = about 300mb on a 10mb connection thats just pitiful

It's about damn time ! I'm downloading it right now, how do you guys like it ? Thanks for the thread Seeker, I checked earlier and it wasn't there, so if I didn't see this, I wouldn't have realized that it was out :p

I downladed the demo. About 75% of the time I don't get into a room, so I have to exit the demo, since it won't let me quit from the 'Joining session' screen. Once I do make it, I either get kicked out or the host closes the game. The one time I actually start playing, it freezes. WTF is up with this ?

im having same problem all i get is joining game session and ive only ever got into 1 session and i was kicked instantly
Demo is supposed to help sell the game lol this hasent done it for me

Exactly, some people don't have this problem, I guess God just loves me so much :p It's really damn annoying !
EDIT: I've been looking up on the Ubisoft forums and the 'Host quit' and 'You were kicked' are bugs. So if anyone is wondering why they can't get into a game, it's because the demo's bugged (for some people only, not every one's demo is bugged) If you really want to explore the maps or just try it out and can't get into any games, just choose System Link.

the game is outstanding, the demo sucks! they really did a horriable job on the demo. they knew alot of people would play it, and yet they didnt care about the bugs WTF :confused: . Anyway if you want to run around the map and check it out goto co-op i found it most of the time i connect to a room. Look for me on there or Wednesday after the update. :woop:
No Problems, pther than with the microphones, either no-ones talking or my voice makes them mute me....:confused
The game is absouletely amazing, other than the fact that I'm having a hard time "jumping" on people and killing mercs as a spy.... Any Suggestions?
I know I can grab them from behind but Im not exactly sure how? RT?
EDIT: No Problems for the first 2 hours, and all of a sudden, I always get the "Joining A Session" screen forever.... I pisses me off. I think its a great game, but if I cant play with anyone in an online demo, than thats fuckin sad...

1. There are a bunch of videos in the multiplayer menu with tips.
2. I figured out a way on how to play by yourself with bots. I'm sure you guys have too, but to who hasn't, go to System Link, click Co-op and there you go ! You get to play as a spy vs. enemy merc bots :woop:
It's a great demo, except for the online part...:p
It extremeley nerving, It's a couple days before release and they give us this bullshit...

im still waitin for the demo, its been a few hours now.
The Downloaded the whole demo within one hour, max...
Also, Theres something weird.. I was playing online and jumped on someone's head from a good distance (Height) away, not too high not too low.... I land right on his head... Crumbling him to the ground. I than proceed to disable all the lights in the building starting with that room, for strategies and to help out teamates, lurking in the corners... And As I turn to disable a light, the guy (Who I knocked Out) Stands up, And fires at me A couple of times, killing me.... Are you Fuckin Serious?
Why didnt he die?

As a spy, or a merc if you jump on their head it knocks them out. the are disabled for a few seconds. Do this twice and they will die. When the game comes out you should be able to turn this feature on in deathmatch,story etc. Its called Lethal Drop Tech ( at least in chaos theory ) I hope you enjoyed the game if you need anymore help just holla at the king of splinter cell .... Import out!

When you jump on their head the first time they should fall down **Knocked out** it should take half their life away, therefore when they stand up if you do it again. they die. Im not 100% possitive they have this on SCDA, but on SCCT it was there. Lethal Droptech you could turn this off and on in custom settings where on = 1 jump kills. off = 1 jump knock out.
