leap frog blood

does any certain type of leap frog drop this? ive been trying to get a rare in heroic ramparts and killing the frogs there but they dont seem to drop it.

It may be that you have to do a leap frog related Guild quest as several of the GUild quests rewards expand the number of components that animals drop if you check the description

OR as you said it may be that you need a higher level type of frog

this the only leap frog guild quest i can find atm.

Try killing rare toads maybe, Snowtoad in the aqueducts or the firtoad in Blackdale. Also try linking lots of groups, the more groups you link the more rare materials that are offerd, for I know while hunting Hydra Bristles for my Otachi you could kill Hydras for hours and get nothing, but I linked 10 groups just for the hell of it and saw drops they never ever dropped before, including my bristles.

There are also a type of Leapfrogs in Crookfen (?) the area near Melphina which has a Remnant (non bindable)

UPDATE

I just got leap frog blood from dissasembling Leap Frogs which spawn with moths in Darken Forest (Disk 2 post Irina)

Note the frogs dont always spawn and the majority of the time for me have not spawned

Well I just found an a new area (to me) called Vale of the Gods, it's off one of the exits in the desert not sure which one though and there were four frogs in front of me so I linked them all together and caught two of them, one had 1 Leap Frog Blood

It helps upgrade the Otachi as well. Mine is upgraded about 4 times. I need this blood plus ur seed plus something I have to upgrade it.
