It is a idea that Ubisoft are looking into and of course it is close to there heart as the company is based in Paris

Ermm id like that but i think it will be in Victorian London then the 3rd will be im Modern Day because i think Altiar is Immortal

Assassin's Creed was developed by Ubisoft Montreal. Not their office based in Paris.

So the French revolution doesn't seem likely, anyway the signs after the credits where you synch with Altair point more to Japan or somewhere in eastern Asia rather than France.

I am 99.9% sure that I read somewhere that it is most likely to be set in Japan.

but UbiSoft started in franch also it may be changed as it is very early in the works and AC3 will be set in the present/furture with you playikng as Desmond

I think he meant ´´the Company´´ as in the Company in game. You know, the ones who have Miles captured.

I think the guy im precent day could me Altiar or you actully play as him in a later game.

My mate told me this today also. I would of loved it to be in Japan and you where a ninja or somthing. I didn't buy the first, doubt ill buy this if it's set in the french revolution.

i think gun powder/ guns might ruin it, i liked it in the time period it was and think that story wise they have got all time periods to choose from because the pieces of eden are shown in loads of different countries and can just say - it was lost here at this point so lets set it there but have a different present day descendant being used by the templars. maybe desmond could help rescue the new descendant and they could team up and destroy the templars in a 3rd one. thats my view anyway still cant wait to play it though.

He is not immortal he was one of the guy's forefathers so in theory he could have more assassins in his bloodline so the genetic memory is freely selectable of all his assassin forefathers!
