Assassin's Creed 2 teaser from UbiSoft

The release of assassin's creed 2 will be sometime in 2010 which may be alround the time the new xbox will be in the works.

A side from the year AC2 will be released nothing else has been said about the period the game will take place and nothing about the return of Lucy or Desmond.

Are you happy we finally have a rough idea when the game will be released?

I've not completed the game yet so I'm kinda shooting from the hip here but I was thinking that Desmond would still be in the game but that Altair might not be Desmond may well have to use one of his other ancestors etc.

I'm just hoping that they vary the gameplay a bit next time around. AC was only a good game where it could so easily have been great.

A teaser can be many different things if you don't want to take the time and read it then too bad.

I like the idea of moving around different eras in history. AC was incredibly historically accurate for any kind of mass media. There could be many sequels with wildly different settings. That would be pure genius!

I think that the game is either going to involve going back in time, or you are going to play a modern day assassin, which could be just as much fun. The entire story revolves around how the Templars now know where the Pieces of Eden are, so you are going to have to find a way to counter them with some other artifact, which will involve more memory seaching, or you are going to have to actually stop them in the modern day.
