I'm going to go ahead and get this out of the way: I know I have a thread for ordering my 1st NTSC-J game, but this is a totally different subject. Now then:

Today I went by the post office to pick up BulletWitch (game) since noone was home to give a signature at the time of the delivery. When I got to the post office they wouldn't allow me to pick up the game. Why? Because my mom attached/kept her maiden when she married my dad so it looks like maiden name-dad's last name.
Since I just have my dad's last name and it was paid for with my mom's credit card I couldn't pick it up even with proof of ID and the whatnot.
One little word denyed me of playing my new game:eek: My mom will probably pick it up on her way home from work tomorrow though.
But honestly, who steals from the postal service? The last I heard anything bad with the postal service was back in '01 with the anthrax, and then in '04 I think, when some guy tried to ship himself in a box. People are more likely to steal programs and music online, deal drugs, jack cars, kidnap people and hold them for ransom, etc. rather than steal from a post office.
I think I might look back on that and laugh at this some day. (the supervisor was kinda goofy)

If anyone else has any stories about their incidences with security (at any place) that you found either stupid, annoying, or that you just think is somewhat ammusing please post them so the rest of us can have a small chuckle, or post a bit of dark humor.:p

I got pulled aside at an airport about 3 months ago because my hand was beeping...when I was younger I had a BB gun that was full auto and I wanted to know how fast the air could hit my hand, well I put the gun right on my hand and pulled the trigger, and in no more than 1sec I get 5 BB's in my hand :p well long story short I found out that ZINC will set off an alarm and not to put any kind of weapon to any part of my body, loaded or not.

Oh and when they asked my what was in my hand I told them my story, and then they toke an xray of my hand.

Did you miss your flight? If you did, did you get your money back?
How far did you have to walk to get to the x-ray machine?
(I don't know much about airports today. I haven't flown since '02 I think)

Was the BB still in your arm? or you have a weapon that was on you? kind of confusing since they gave you a lecture about common sense, and since seems like you didn't try to do anything.
